Born in New York, raised in Los Angeles, Matt has been a part of the Aftershock Fam since March 2020 and currently serves as the Branded Content & Partnerships Director. With experience in marketing, digital content strategy, and live event management, Matt strives to help create the same impactful musical experiences he has been so blessed to have witnessed, for the next generation of music fans. A lover of the outdoors who can regularly be found hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, or golfing. But don’t think of challenging him on the course!
Matt’s socially conscious cause is very near and dear to his heart, quite literally. Born with a congenital heart disease, Tetralogy of Fallot, Matt required his first of 3 open-heart surgeries at 2 days old. After his 3rd at the age of 10, Matt attended Camp Del Corazon, a summer camp for children with congenital heart defects. There he met kids unable to run or play sports, to enjoy the happy and active lifestyle every child deserves, and he discovered a newfound gratitude for the health he had. Refusing to be limited by his condition and inspired by the friends he made, Matt lives every day with them in mind, hoping to be an example for others suffering from heart conditions to live their life knowing that their limitations can be their greatest source of strength.
