Education Programs
Locations: YMCA Camp Shady Brook, Colorado
Boredom Fighters BeatCamp
BeatCamp is a specialized camp designed for young, gifted, and aspiring music producers aged 8-16 who are already producing music on a laptop. Held from July 21st to 26th, this camp offers an intensive experience for 20 campers who want to dive deeper into their craft. Guided by seasoned experts, participants will engage in group music production exercises, songwriting and arrangement workshops, and learn to track other musicians. They will also discover new gear and live setups, collaborate with national touring acts, and receive personalized 1-on-1 instruction. Campers will have the opportunity to get feedback on their current projects, explore a range of music career opportunities, and practice their live setups. The camp culminates in a live performance, where campers showcase their skills to an audience of over 100 peers.
